right now

what i need aren’t cautious words, or realistic scenarios. 

what i need aren’t “calm down”s, or lip service support. 

possibly what’s worse is indifference, or belittlement. 

perhaps i’m being a tad sensitive.

but just get excited, why not? let me try, let me attempt to take off and - if i fly, i fly. if i fall, at the very least i get a story out of it. and i learn sth from it. i just want you on the journey, getting enthusiastic just a bit, because it would be that much better.

it’s hard to take someone along when they don’t seem to want to be there

but again, maybe it’s just me being sensitive.

yes, this will be a whole entry dedicated to the best tv series ever made, in my opinion. 

im not really sure whether im able to say that FRIENDS was during ‘my time’, because it seems like it stretched out to cover a whole range of different people from different “eras”. and no, im not gonna go into the deeper FRIENDS-was-a-pioneer of this/that/the other, or it represented the first-whatever-it-was in the media. 

but quite simply, i (and this is just me. but i know im right.) dont think there will ever be another show that will be able to capture the intricacies of life and human relationships, and weave it together in such witty and hilarious conversation. to me, FRIENDS is story telling at its’ best. what grabs me most is the cavalier attitude the show takes - not in the ‘just can’t be stuffed’ way, but in a ‘life is fun! don’t take things so seriously’ way. and i love that! honestly, the crazy s*** that they get up to. also, best cast with best facial expressions ever. you realise that you really can’t do without one even if you hate their personality. it just wouldn’t be complete. i swear i can recite the lines with the actors in any/all the episodes. 

that’s all i wanted to say haha.

oh also, you know you’re getting old when you talk about FRIENDS to “kids nowadays” and they go: ohh yeahhh, i’ve heard about that show…

and even worse when they even try to compare it with How I Met Your Mother. i mean, i love that show too. but c’mon. don’t even. 

…..you dont know what you’re missing out on, kid. 

okay that’s all. end rant. lol
